Some cost will be covered internally by redirecting spending, but the district is counting on financial support from community partnerships and hoping the bold plan will attract Race to the Top federal stimulus dollars that could trickle in as early as this spring. The plan notes that it will ask taxpayers for additional support if these funds are insufficient.</span>
